SCHOOL RATINGS

Schools here in Everett have higher ratings, landing in the 6 to 8 range, with our students gradually improving every year, and overall having a higher state assessment average than neighbouring cities. Our schools and teachers focus heavily on our growth, and as students, we can say they have been a huge help to us by helping us understand any topics we might struggle with. Our city boasts higher graduation rates than compared to Mukilteo or Snohomish, showing that we have better educational statistics compared to our neighbouring communities.

HOUSE VALUE STATS

According to Redfin, the house status in Everett, Washington is currently about 625k per house with a yearly increase of 1.6% during the year. Our housing price average is notably higher compared the rest of the country. Most people assume it is because of how Everett is more expensive than similarly-sized cities. With living in Everett, Washington being 17.4% more expensive than the national average, it makes sense for our homes to be more expensive.

MIDDLE SCHOOLS

  • The top three highest-scoring public middle schools in Everett are Gateway Middle School, Heatherwood Middle School, and North Middle School, all coming from the Everett School District. This district has a high graduation rate, and their 4-year plan for the class of 2021 resulted in an astounding graduation rate of 93.9%
  • The middle schools in Everett are overall quite good, with many sources saying they are very diverse, with many ethnicities & good teachers.
  • They also have good proficiency in math and reading, with over half of students doing good in reading and math.

HIGH SCHOOLS

This means that Everett is less safe than average, with an 15 point difference than the national average. Everett suffers from more crime due to many property crimes being committed. Everett is safer than 3% of cities, so it’s not the safest. Many people that are older find it scary to leave their homes, knowing that someone could break in. However, Everett is currently implementing stricter law policy and more police in order to solve this issue.
